Kellie martin is an American film, television as well as stage actor. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) as well as Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other roles of note include her title character in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store seller and a kindergarten teacher started her career acting at the age of seven when her aunt who served as an nanny for actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy".
